Licensing

At Star Thrower, we license content. You are not purchasing the program, but rather, purchasing the right to use the program.

Each license is delivered on a specific format (DVD, flash drive, stream, download), with a unique license. Our most common formats and licenses are as follows:

DVD: Digitizing, copying and/or duplication of film is strictly prohibited. For group training and individual viewing. Single monitor use only.

USB Flash Drive: Licensed content delivered on encrypted flash drive. Copying, distributing and/or sharing of film is strictly prohibited. For group training and individual viewing. Single monitor use only.

Streaming: License length is one year. A fast internet connection is suggested. Copying, recording and/or distributing of film is strictly prohibited. For group training and individual viewing.

Download: Adobe Air is required to play downloaded video. Click here for Adobe Air support.
Content can be downloaded to a single laptop or device. Copying, distributing and/or sharing of film is strictly prohibited. For group training and individual viewing. Single monitor use only.

Bundle: Combine any format (DVD, USB Flash, or Download) with a Streaming Subscription (50 views. Additional views can be purchased any time). Individual format restrictions apply.

E-Learning: License length varies by producer, but generally one year. Pricing is based on the number of people that will be accessing the content. Content is delivered via stream or SCORM compliant downloaded file.  Duplicating is prohibited. Single monitor use.

We also offer custom licensing options. If you are interested in securing additional licensing rights such as: multiple monitor use, intranet, flash drive, or an option not listed above, please contact us for more information.
